What we date, what we don’t
The sky dates with a watchmaker’s precision, and Nohemia makes full use of it: the full moon falls to the minute, Mercury stations on such a day at such a time, the Sun enters Libra at the exact instant of the equinox. Those dates are calculated, verifiable, and you will find them everywhere on the site.
What we refuse to date is your life. You will never read here that a meeting awaits you on the 14th of March, that a breakup looms in September, or that a sum of money arrives at the next eclipse. A transit has an exact date; what you make of it does not.
Why we hold this line
Because two people born on the same day move through the same transit while living two days that look nothing alike. The sky describes a shared climate; your response to that climate belongs to you alone. To promise a dated event would be to mistake the weather for what you decide to do with it.
It is also how the authors who give us our footing read it. Robert Hand, in Planets in Transit, describes transits as a conversation between the sky of the day and your natal sky, never as a calendar of guaranteed events. We write in that tradition, and we own it with quiet pride.

- And yet you publish calendars full of dates?
- Yes: the sky’s dates. Full moons, Mercury stations and season entries are dated to the minute there, because they can be calculated. What those dates will produce in your life, on the other hand, cannot: we give you the window, never the promise.
