Twelve lessons, in an order that matters: you start at the zodiac, you travel through planets, houses and aspects, and you finish able to read a whole chart. Each lesson fits in a short read and builds on the one before.

With lesson 1, simply. The course is built to be read in order: the notions stack up, and what looks abstract at the start becomes concrete along the way. If you already know the basics, go straight to the lesson you are missing; each page stands on its own.

  1. The zodiac and the signs By the end of this lesson you will be able to read the zodiac wheel: a circle of 360 degrees cut into twelve equal slices of 30 degrees, set against the apparent path of the Sun across the year. ≈ 4 min

Learning astrology, in short answers

Can I learn astrology on my own?
Yes. Astrology is a symbolic language: you learn it the way you learn to read, one notion at a time, and you practice it on real charts, starting with your own. This course follows that order, from the zodiac to reading a whole chart, and each lesson builds on the one before.
How long does it take to learn astrology?
Reading the twelve lessons takes about 42 minutes. Reading a chart with ease takes a few months of regular practice on real charts; mastering the finer techniques (transits, progressions, traditional astrology) is a matter of years, as with any language.
Where should a beginner start?

Do I need my birth time to learn astrology?
No, not to learn. Your birth time is what gives your rising sign and your houses; without it you can still study everything else, and practice on the charts of friends whose time is known.
Is this astrology course free?
Yes: the twelve lessons are free to read, with no account. The Academy, in the app, adds an interactive version, with exercises on real charts and flashcards.
Do you need a certification to become an astrologer?
