Taking care of yourself

Wellbeing, in step with the moon.

it all starts with a breath ✦

Some days ask for only one thing: a place to set down what weighs on you. Nohemia keeps four ready for you. A guided breath that slows everything down, rituals that follow the moon, thirty-day challenges cut to the length of a cycle, and a journal that belongs to you alone. Nothing here is spectacular, and that is on purpose: these are simple gestures, repeated in step with a sky that never hurries. You do not need to believe in it very hard. You just need five minutes.

Three breaths, an orb to guide you.

Choose a protocol and rest your eyes on the orb: it expands as you inhale, draws in as you exhale, holds still while you hold your breath. You have nothing to count, it counts for you. "Coherence" sets a steady five-second pendulum, "Relax 4-7-8" lengthens the exhale to prepare the night, "Box" draws a perfect square of four counts for the working hours. And if you would rather nothing move on screen, the orb knows how to stay still and guide you another way. All three protocols are waiting for you from your first minute in the app.

  • 5 · 5 Coherence Five seconds to take in the air, five to give it back. A steady pendulum, the one made for tense days. stress & anxiety
  • 4 · 7 · 8 Relax 4-7-8 An exhale twice as long as the inhale, made for the evenings when sleep is slow to come. to fall asleep
  • 4 · 4 · 4 · 4 Box Four equal counts, like the four sides of a square. The rhythm of mornings when only one thing matters. focus & work

The rituals of the moons.

Some evenings ask for a gesture rather than a thought. Nohemia keeps four guided rituals, each tuned to a moon: the new one to begin, the full one to give thanks and let go. Each ritual opens with a few lines that set the scene, then a timer marks out the steps one by one, and a gentle question closes the session. The one that resonates with the day's moon rises to the top of the list, as if it had been waiting for you.

  • new moon · 3 min

    Three-minute meditation

A short inner silence, anywhere, any time. Three minutes are enough to soften the day.

  • new moon · 5 min · to write

    Set an intention

Five minutes to name a direction. An intention is a quiet bearing, not a promise, and Nohemia keeps it so the cycle can hand it back to you.

  • full moon · 6 min · to write

    Gratitude letter

A short letter you never send, started from one small precise detail. Six minutes are enough to surprise yourself.

Thirty days, one moon.

A habit needs a horizon, and thirty days is just the right one: it is almost exactly the time the moon takes to return to where you left it. You name your challenge, and the app unfolds a gentle grid of thirty cells, marked out by the phases. Each evening you tick, or you do not, and the grid makes no drama of it: a missed day stays an empty cell, not a failure. At the end of the cycle, you see what consistency draws, and you choose to start again, or to archive the challenge with what it taught you.

Your journal, punctuated by the sky.

"What you set down": that is how your journal welcomes you, and that is exactly its role. You write what you want, you choose the mood of the day, and each entry gets its moon stamp: the evening's phase, the sign it was crossing. At the new moon, the journal invites you to set an intention; at the full, to take stock. Months later, you reread and see what you did not see while writing: the moods that come back with certain moons, the calm pages, the full ones. And no one but you ever reads these pages, ever.
