Your account · deletion

Delete your account, and everything in it.

Two ways, your pick: from your space, where deletion takes seconds, or with an email to contact@nohemia.com if you no longer have the app. Either way, your account and everything you kept in it are erased for good, and nothing comes back afterwards.

From the app or the site

This is the shortest path, and the only one that acts within the second. It works the same on the site, on iPhone, on iPad and on Mac.

  1. Open Nohemia and sign in.
  2. Go to Account, right at the bottom, to the section called “Your data and your privacy”.
  3. Choose “Delete my account”, then confirm.

The erasure starts straight away. You are signed out everywhere, on every device, and there is no bin to fish anything back out of.

Without the app, by email

You uninstalled the app, changed phones, or would simply rather not sign in again: write to us and we will handle it.

  1. Send an email to contact@nohemia.com from the address linked to your account.
  2. Put “Account deletion” in the subject line, that is all we need.
  3. If reasonable doubt remains about who you are, we will ask you to confirm before acting, never for an identity document.

We act as fast as we can, and within thirty days at the latest, as the GDPR requires. A confirmation email reaches you once the erasure is done.

What gets erased

Everything goes at once, with no sorting and no exception. Here is what deletion takes with it.

  • Your account, your email address and your Google or Apple sign-in. Sign in with Apple tokens are revoked at Apple.
  • Your sessions, closed everywhere, on every device.
  • Your birth details, the profiles you saved and the charts calculated from them.
  • Your Soul Imprint, your Alchemies and your results in every practice.
  • Your journal, your dreams, your moon intentions, your check-ins, your habits, your rituals and your streaks.
  • Your tarot pulls, your synastries, your stone collection, your quiz answers, your biorhythm readings, your mirror hours and your totem encounters.
  • Your progress through the academy, your exams and your certificates.
  • The data exports you had already generated: the files themselves are destroyed.
  • Any subscription taken out on the site, cancelled at the same moment, and your customer profile anonymised at our payment provider.
  • The personal data held inside the payment notifications we received, redacted.

What is kept, and why

Three things survive. None of them can lead back to you, and each answers an obligation we cannot set aside.

The record of the request itself: its date and its status.
It is detached from your identity at the moment of erasure. The GDPR asks us to be able to show that a request was honoured; that single line, and nothing else, is the proof.
Invoices and receipts held by the payment platform.
They do not live in your space but at Polar, the App Store or Google Play, depending on where you subscribed. Accounting and tax law requires keeping them for ten years, and nobody here can erase them on their behalf.
Subscription event rows, emptied of every piece of personal data.
They are technical counters, with no name, no address and no customer id. They exist so that the subscription bookkeeping stays honest.

If you subscribe, read this first

Deleting an account and stopping a payment are two different moves, and they do not always go through the same door.

  • Subscribed on the site: it is cancelled automatically when you delete. Days already paid for are neither kept nor refunded.
  • Subscribed through the App Store or Google Play: only Apple and Google can stop it. Cancel it there first, in your phone settings, otherwise the billing carries on while your account no longer exists.
  • If all you want is to stop paying, cancel without deleting: your account and everything in it stay exactly where they are.

Before you go

Two things that cost nothing and cannot be done afterwards.

  • Export your data from your space: one complete, readable file to keep on your side.
  • If it is the price you are leaving rather than Nohemia, write to us before erasing everything. We answer.

Common questions

I no longer have the app, how do I delete my account?
Write to contact@nohemia.com from the address linked to your account, with “Account deletion” in the subject. We take care of it, within thirty days at the latest, and you get a confirmation once it is done.
Can I undo it?
No. Deletion is final: no bin, no backup, no grace period. If you are hesitating, export your data first.
How long does it take for everything to be erased?
From your space, the erasure is immediate. By email, we act as fast as we can and within thirty days at the latest, the window the GDPR sets.
Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?
If you subscribed on the site, yes, immediately. If you went through the App Store or Google Play, no: only they can stop it, and it has to be done in your phone settings before you delete.
I never created an account, what do you hold on me?
Nothing. The public site reads without an account and sets no advertising cookie. With no account, there is nothing to delete.
