The 12 houses, room by room.
The houses are the twelve territories of your chart: where the sky lands in your concrete life. Each fiche tells one house, what it governs and how to read it.
- The 1st house The 1st house is the first of the twelve houses of the birth chart: it begins at the Ascendant, the degree of the zodiac that was rising in the east at the exact moment you were born.
- The 2nd house The 2nd house is the second house of the birth chart: it describes your resources, the money you earn, what you own and, more deeply, what you hold to be valuable, both in yourself and around you.
- The 3rd house The 3rd house is the third house of the birth chart: it governs communication, learning, siblings, the neighborhood and the everyday journeys.
- The 4th house The 4th house is the fourth house of the birth chart: it begins at the Imum Coeli, the lowest point of the wheel, and governs home, family, roots and intimate memory.
- The 5th house The 5th house is the fifth house of the birth chart: it governs creativity, play, pleasures, budding romance and children.
- The 6th house The 6th house is the sixth house of the birth chart: it governs daily life, hands-on work, routines, well-being and care of the body.
- The 7th house The 7th house is the house of unions: the couple, marriage, partnerships, the contracts that bind two people.
- The 8th house The 8th house is the house of the depths: what you share to the point of no longer being able to step back.
- The 9th house The 9th house is the house of horizons: long-haul travel, higher studies, philosophy, spirituality, everything that widens the map of the world you carry within you.
- The 10th house The 10th house is the house of vocation: the career, the reputation, the mark you leave on the visible world.
- The 11th house The 11th house is the house of friendships: the friends you choose, the groups you belong to, the networks, the causes and the projects built with others.
- The 12th house The 12th house is the house of retreat: the inner life, solitude, what works behind the scenes of an existence.
