The aspects: when planets talk.
Conjunction, square, trine: aspects are the angles planets form with each other, the grammar of the sky’s conversations. Each fiche tells one of them.
- The conjunction The conjunction is the simplest and most powerful aspect: two planets sit at the same degree of the zodiac, give or take a few degrees.
- The opposition The opposition places two planets face to face, 180 degrees apart, at the two ends of a single axis.
- The quincunx The quincunx links two planets 150 degrees apart, in signs that share neither element, nor mode, nor polarity.
- The sextile The sextile links two planets 60 degrees apart, that is two signs of compatible elements (fire and air, earth and water).
- The square The square places two planets 90 degrees apart, in signs that share the same mode but not the same element.
- The trine The trine links two planets 120 degrees apart, almost always in signs of the same element.
