Personal day

The personal day is calculated by adding the figure of the current personal month to the calendar day number, then reducing the total to a digit from 1 to 9. For example, in a personal month 8, the 6th of the month gives 8+6 = 14, then 1+4 = 5, a personal day 5. It is the finest scale of cyclic numerology: the tone of a single day, nested in the month, itself within the year.

What it lights up

Your personal day gives the finest grain of the cycle: the mood of the day opening up. It is the everyday tool, the one you check on waking. A day 3 calls for exchange and lightness, a day 4 for patient work. Without deciding anything for you, it whispers where to place your energy to stay in step with the moment.

How to work it out

Calculate your personal year then your personal month, and add the calendar day number. Reduce the total to a digit from 1 to 9. You can work it out each morning in seconds once the habit sets in. Tie it to your month and year: the three nested scales draw your inner weather, from the long term to the present.
