Pisces

Pisces is the twelfth sign of the zodiac, a mutable water sign whose traditional ruler is Jupiter and modern ruler Neptune, covering roughly 19 February to 20 March. In Western astrology it is tied to sensitivity, imagination and compassion. Having the Sun in Pisces describes a person drawn to empathy, dreaming and inner life, sometimes at the cost of blurred boundaries with the world.

The Pisces temperament

If you are a Pisces, you feel a great deal and absorb the mood around you: you dream, you empathize, you merge into something larger than yourself. Your mutable water makes you tender, intuitive and porous to emotion. Your strength is boundless imagination and compassion; your lesson is setting clear limits without losing your gentleness.

Its place in the zodiac

Twelfth and last of the signs, Pisces dissolves and gathers everything the zodiac has moved through. A water sign, it shares that depth with Cancer and Scorpio; a mutable sign, it closes the wheel and readies a new spring. Across from it, Virgo sorts and refines while Pisces connects the whole: the concrete answers the infinite.
