Life path number

The life path number is the central figure of Pythagorean numerology. It is calculated by adding every digit of the full birth date (day, month, year), then reducing the total to a single digit from 1 to 9, unless a master number appears. It describes the main route of a life, its recurring lessons and the underlying direction a person tends toward across the years.

What it reveals about you

Your life path lights up the long thread of your journey: the ground where you learn, the obstacles that keep returning and the quality you build as you move forward. It fixes nothing in stone. See it instead as a gentle compass reminding you which direction feels most true and alive for you.

How to work it out

Add the day, month and year of your birth, digit by digit, then reduce until you reach a number from 1 to 9. If you meet 11, 22 or 33 along the way, keep it as it is. Come back to this number whenever you hesitate: it gently recenters you on what truly matters to you.
