Wands (tarot)
Wands are one of the four suits of the tarot’s Minor Arcana, tied to the element Fire. They speak of momentum: energy, action, creativity, desire, projects that are getting started. In a reading, a majority of Wands turns the focus toward movement and initiative rather than feeling or material concerns. The suit runs from Ace to Ten, completed by its four court cards.
The ground they touch
When Wands appear in your spread, look toward your inner fire: what moves you, motivates you, makes you want to act. This is the suit of energy and creative drive, the one of projects taking shape and of the desire that pushes you forward toward whatever genuinely matters to you right now.
