Pentacles (tarot)
Pentacles are one of the four suits of the tarot’s Minor Arcana, tied to the element Earth. They are also called Coins or Deniers. They speak of the concrete: work, the body, money, home, all that is built over time. In a reading, a majority of Pentacles anchors the focus in the real and the material rather than in emotion or idea. The suit runs from Ace to Ten.
The ground they touch
When Pentacles appear in your spread, come back to the ground: your work, your resources, your body, your living environment. This is the suit of earth and matter, the one that speaks of stability, patience, and what you cultivate day after day so you can watch it grow with time.
How to read them
A Pentacles card invites you to look at the concrete side of your life with care. Ask yourself what you are building, what needs tending or strengthening. Read it as a mirror of your present grounding: an invitation to care for the real rather than a promise of riches or a warning to fear.
