Soul number
The soul number is found by adding the values of the vowels in the full birth name, using the Pythagorean table where each letter is worth 1 to 9, then reducing the sum to a single digit or a master number. Also called the soul urge or the heart’s desire number, it describes a person’s deeper motivation: what they truly want, beyond their visible talents and the image they project.
What it whispers in you
Your soul number speaks of the part of you that longs quietly: what really feeds you, what you keep returning to when no one is watching. It rounds out your expression number, which faces your visible talents. Listening to this whisper means giving room again to what moves you from the inside.
How to work it out
Write your full birth name and pick out the vowels. Give each one its value from 1 to 9 in the Pythagorean table, add them, then reduce to a single digit, keeping 11, 22 or 33 as they are. Then set this number against your expression: you will see where your deeper longing meets, or parts from, the way you act.
