Pluto
Pluto is the planet of depth, power and transformation in Western astrology. The slowest planet, strongly generational in tone, it can stay some twenty years in a single sign; its house in the birth chart shows the area where a person moves through crises, symbolic deaths, and rebirths. It is linked to the unconscious, to intensity, and to everything that plays out in the shadows.
What Pluto transforms
Where Pluto sits in your chart is where nothing stays on the surface: the area where you live through endings and fresh starts, where you touch your own power as well as your most buried fears. Its house shows the area of life where you are called, sometimes harshly, to let what can no longer last fall away.
Death and rebirth
Pluto works like a deep tide: it brings what was hidden to the surface, control, desire, the wound, so that a part of you can be reborn. Its slowness makes it mainly a generational signature; it is through its house and aspects that this intensity becomes your own private path of transformation.
