What is the difference between sun sign and moon sign?
Your sun sign, the one in horoscopes, follows the Sun, which stays about a month in each sign. Your moon sign follows the Moon, which changes every two and a half days. The first tells what you reach for, the second what you need to feel safe.
Do I need to know my birth time?
Most often, no: the Moon stays about two and a half days in the same sign, so the date is enough. But if it changed sign on your birth day, the time decides between the two. When in doubt, enter 12:00.
Why is the city of birth needed?
To convert your local time into universal time: the Moon’s position is calculated on a shared clock, and the city sets the timezone, summer and winter time included.
What does the moon sign say?
