Sun line (Apollo line)
The Sun line, also called the Apollo line, is a vertical line rising from the base of the palm toward the ring finger, the finger of Apollo. It runs parallel to the fate line but closer to the outer edge of the hand. Palmistry tradition reads it as radiance, recognized talent, and a sense of fulfillment. Often short or absent, it is read mainly on its upper portion, near the mount of Apollo, beneath the ring finger.
Where to find it exactly
Place a finger at the base of your ring finger, then trace straight down toward the wrist: the Sun line follows that axis. It is often short and visible only on its upper third, just below the mount of Apollo. Many hands carry only a fragment, sometimes a cluster of fine vertical lines bundled together.
What tradition reads in it
Cheiro saw it as the mark of radiance and recognition, the moment what you carry inside finds an echo outside. A clear, long line speaks of a talent that gets seen; a cluster of small lines, of scattered creativity still searching for its channel. Its absence takes nothing from you: it says your light kindles somewhere other than under the gaze.
