Ring of Solomon
The Ring of Solomon is a curved line encircling the base of the index finger, running in a half-circle around the mount of Jupiter. A rare special marking, palmistry tradition reads it as a gift for understanding people: psychological intuition, wisdom, and an attraction to teaching, counsel, or the disciplines of the mind. You find it by looking for an isolated arc at the root of the index finger, distinct from a mere flexion crease of the finger.
Where to look exactly
Look at the base of your index finger, from the thumb side toward the inside of the palm: if a fine line traces an arc around it, resting on the mount of Jupiter, that is the Ring of Solomon. Do not confuse it with the sharp crease marking the finger joint: the ring sits higher, fainter, and curves clearly toward the palm.
